St. Andrew Christmas Novena Prayer Card: the Nativity at midnight in Bethlehem, with the full St. Andrew Novena on the back.
Beneath the star of Bethlehem, the Virgin Mary in her pale blue lace veil kneels beside the newborn Christ Child in the manger, while St. Joseph stands close with his staff. A donkey and a little lamb keep watch, and the lights of Bethlehem glow under a deep midnight-blue sky. A cream arched border with white blossoms and a fine gold line frames the scene. Turn it over for the beloved St. Andrew Christmas Novena: "Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold…" with the reminder to pray it 15 times a day from November 30 until Christmas.
This is the novena card of our Advent series, alongside one card for each Sunday of Advent. Keep it by your Advent wreath, in your missal or on your nightstand so the prayer is always at hand, or give a set to your parish, prayer group or family so you can pray the novena together.
Details
Why you will keep it close
Pray the novena all Advent long
The St. Andrew Novena is prayed 15 times a day from the Feast of St. Andrew, November 30, until Christmas. With the prayer always on hand, it is easy to keep the count, at home or on the go.
Art that invites you in
Original artwork, not clip art. The kind of image that rewards a second look and quietly draws the whole family into prayer.
A prayer ready on the table
The prayer is printed right on the back, so anyone can lead it, even the youngest reader in the family.
Printed to be looked at, not squinted at
On 111# matte cover the ink sits crisply on the surface and the finish keeps glare down, so the detail reads clearly by candlelight.
For homes, parishes and classrooms
Single cards for your own wreath, sets of 25 to 100 for parishes, schools, religious education and Advent retreats.

Good to know
Is this part of a set?
Yes. This is the St. Andrew Novena card of our Advent series, which also has a card for each Sunday of Advent. Want several designs? Choose "1 Card" of each design: 3 or more single cards save 10% and 5 or more save 15%, applied automatically at checkout.
When should I order?
The novena begins on November 30, 2026. For delivery in the US in time to start, we recommend ordering by November 13.
Is the prayer printed on the card?
Yes. Every card is double-sided: artwork on the front, the full prayer on the back.
Is it glossy?
No. The matte cover stock was chosen on purpose: less reflection, better contrast, and a softer feel in the hand.
Is there a printable version?
Yes, families and parishes can download a free printable version of the Advent cards from our Advent printable page. The printed card is made on heavy matte cover stock with an envelope, for a keepsake that lasts beyond Advent.
Faith is carried in small things.
